Looked through a lot of the forums here, and I am not sure that I found the answer I was looking for (although I could have missed it since I am at work).

Just got an Acer Icona A100 (3.2 Honeycomb) Thanksgiving Day. LOVE IT (so far) and am still getting used to it all. What I am looking for is to be able to use the LAN connection at work to primarly watch netflix (via their app) or maybe checkout some hulu. We do not have wireless at work just wired connections, and the majority of supervision doesn't really care what we do so long as we get our work done (example, co-worker is playing angry birds on his tablet) so its not too big of an issue. Hoping to be able to do it via usb maybe? Keep from having to go out and get a USB dongle for bluetooth or something.

Don't think its possible (I haven't heard of it. I could be wrong). Just buy a 20 dollar wireless router and hook that up

no software needed on the pc. all you'd have to do it plug a lan line into it then wire from that to your computer(the setup is browser based). but if they dont want you messing with that stuff i dont see any other way, maybe wireless tether from your phone? well that's if its capable

Can teather off the phone (android) but we have spotty 3G in the building, so not too good to stream full length video off of...which was why we were wanting to get onto the LAN at work

Get a better job where your management cares the work force is goofing off when they should be working.....

You know most workplaces aside from dept stores and low wage jobs often don't care what you do as long as your work gets done. But I can see how your manager would be pissed to see you playing on your phone when you should be flipping burgers.

I've never had a job where there wasn't always something that could be done.... I just dont see where an employee should be goofing off while hes getting paid to do something.... I guess that might explain why todays work force and the economy is the way it is... we keep accepting lower and lower standards.

Note the user name...that should tell you what kind of job I have.....

Management lets us have down time after 6pm since we truly are spending our day there (24-hour shifts). There are only so many things to do after you have ate dinner, worked out, showered, and cleaned up the apparatus bay
