Reversing a rooted phone

I have a question that I was asked by a new user that I could not answer. If you have rooted your phone and installed the leaked 2.1 version can this process be reversed? Since rooting the phone voids your warranty. I didn't know this answer so any help would be appreciated so I can tell him. Thanks.

Absolutely; you'd just have to flash a stock rom and you're back to stock.
