Today I got to try out the TechMatte hybrid case and the Progrip car mount holder for my Samsung S5

The case itself is actually very nice. It does not add much bulk. What I liked a lot about the case was the side rubber seems very stiff and strong. The clear back looks very good and allows you to show off the backing on the S5. The clear back is also scratch resistant, the back almost feels like a plexiglass feel. The cutouts are all very precise and buttons are still very accessible. It feels really good in hand and not slippery. It also allows the phone to retain its original look.

My only dislikes is this case doesn't have the camera protruding in, the camera sticks out as if you have no case on it. Personally I prefer my cases to give some protection for my camera if I was to set it on a table. The case does seem strong as far as material but I am not sure how good it is on absorbing impact because it does not have an another layer that cases come with these days.

I would say for the price this case is very good value wise if your looking for something simple, compact and stylish.

Their windshield car mount is also very good as far as removal and installing your phone onto it quickly. It feels sturdy and allows multiple positioning of your phone. It also can mount to dash or onto windshield. The suction for the window is very secure and you don't need to worry about it falling off.

Only things I disliked is for those who cant put things on the windshield, this unit will require your dash area to be flat, if you have a curvy dash then it wouldn't work. The part that grips onto your phone is kinda like a spring, not sure in the long run if it could or would scratch your phone or case.

Overall I think this unit is very good as far as functioning if you have a flat dash or don't mind things on the windshield, this is definitely a good buy. Pricing is very reasonable.
