Revisiting the Pixel. What are your thoughts now?

Yes, these too :)

But a normal user won't notice all these things. I think. Except for that last thing you mentioned.

But I have to say, the Oneplus 3T feels excellent in the hand. Round back. Thin edges. Small bezels. And the even distribution of weight. Win win.

Definitely the best device OP has put out, and by a lot. I'm very curious about what they're going to do this year.

OP3T definitely is a great value, but the Pixel IMO has a better design, better camera, the same SoC, better software, better software updates, better security, better security updates, better compliance with USB standards, a better display and works for more than 100% more people within the US market than the OP3T does.

I agree with you..... I think what sets the Pixel apart the most from other phone I have had (namely the OPO3t and S7 edge and so forth) is the whole user experience. I think Google really nailed the user experience this time around. For me the Pixel XL i have is so easy to use and do the normal everyday functions I use a smartphone for.

I have been using pixel xl for a month i came from iphone 7 plus.. i love the camera and software of the pixel.. i tried 3T but i cant stand the slowness and quality of the camera...

Pixels performance is so good that you forget about performance ever being a problem.

Instant! 60 fps

I hope HTC and Oneplus break the curse for having bad cameras this year. Oneplus still has the price going for it. But HTC, ahhhh man.

Camera is becoming extremely important for a phone these days. A good camera can sell a mediocre phone.

HTC 10 was a very good camera, was tied for first place most the year with the S7 Edge and ended 2016 tied for 2nd on DXO. Prior to that one, long line of disappointments from HTC's flagship cameras.

Yes but I've used the camera in the 10. It is as good as S7 if you manage to take the shot. Because the software was really slow to take the picture.

Camera is the whole experience dont you think? I think most cameras today are capable enough to get a great shot if one takes the time out to take them. But only some phones allow the users to take a good photo every single time.

Each phone I've used, I've managed to take amazing looking photos with it. But it's the ease of use and consistency which differs.

That's one reason Samsung has consistently been one of the best cameras to use - extremely fast shutter speed and you're on to the next shot almost instantly. Very difficult to miss a shot and you can take 2 or 3 then choose the best one. Google camera was always pretty slow as well in the Nexus phones, but in the Pixel it's greased lightning. They must have had their camera in the yard chasing chickens.

Not only that, but with HDR processing enabled. The software and hardware optimisation shines through best in camera in Pixel I think. It has a lot to do with the photos and it does everything amazingly and that too all simultaneously.

And Samsung and Apple have been doing it for years I agree!
