Rezound for that amazing incredible omgwtfbbqsauce 720p screen -- this phone is the spiritual successor to the venerable Droid Incredible.

I mean, I loves me some DInc, it was my first phone-love... but there really is no good reason for the Inc4G.

the rezound has a s3 45m chip and separate lte radio. The dinc 4g has the s4 krait SoC msm8960 28nm chip with integrated radios including 4g. I would suspect that the battery life on the dinc 4g would be better than the rezound, smaller screen, lower resolution, larger battery, and more efficient chip/radio.

The chip is similar to the s3 and hox, except that the dinc 4g is clocked at 1.2.

The Incredible is better in every way...except the display and screen size.

For me these were deal breakers. So I would still choose the Rezound. But the new Incredible is pretty sweet.

you are right. but i think it's going to have a hard time selling at $150 being at what's a smaller screen size. those people buying high end androids are more likely to buy a phone with a larger than 4" screen, imo.

I cant possibly understand how someone can think the Inc 4G is a weak phone or a POS, or nothing special...lol. The chance for a new phone with better battery life? The horror...

I wont get into the screen or screen res of the Rezound...but it wouldnt even bother me if I got the Inc 4G.

I plan on picking one up eventually. I want my family plan to be diverse. Moto will probably be my main phone....unless another phone surprises me. But I will probably get the GS3 and this.

MSM8960. same that's in the S3 and HOX.

the DInc 4G isn't a weak phone by any means, but it's specs are a bit lower than the s3, and the price is only $50 less. IMO, i think if it sold for $100ish, that it would be a good seller at it's current specs. but of course, that is just my opinion, time will tell if it will sell well at $150. Reason I say that is because spec wise, it is a little better than the LG Lucid which is $50 right now. The DInc 4G uses the S4 while the Lucid uses the S3, same as the Rezound, but at a lower clock. The Lucid also has a wvga vs. a qHD in the DInc 4G. the dinc 4g also has ics, but a lot of shoppers don't even know what ics is. the average joe isn't going to see much difference in the two. This isn't counting that the Rezound has been $50 straight from Verizon before.

The fairer question is the DINC 4GLTE worth 2.5 times the price of the Rezound ? I know the S4 is the better processor but once the Rezound gets ICS combined with an extended battery does that almost negate the difference ?

You are probably right, but if they come out with a 720p 4" screen, small form factor, and high end hardware and I will be their first customer. The rezound was the closest I found to this which is why I here lol

I've used both phones and I am sorry to say that I wouldn't recommend the rezound over the incredible 4G.

The S4 chip makes all the difference in the world and the camera is awesome. It's as close to the HTC One line as you can get in Verizon.
