Ring Repeat Speed

Ok maybe I messed up a setting, but form some reason when my phone rings with the default tone it will ring, pause, ring, shorter pause, ring, even shorter pause, ring, still a shorter pause...

This is annoying as all get out if I cant get to my phone immediatly.

How can I disable this "feature" and set it so that when the standard ring tone is used the interval is constant. I am fed up with the phone yelling at me for not attending to a call in the time it wants me to.

It's probably just the way the default tone was made. I use the digital phone ring tone and it sounds normal to me.
