Ring Volume being ignored and using media volume instead

Hi,

I have noticed a problem with my HTC One S when it comes to the ring tone volume. When the phone rings, it appears to be using the MEDIA Volume to determine the volume of the ring, as opposed to the RING TONE volume.

I can confirm this. If I have the ring tone volume turned all the way up, but the media volume very low, the phone rings quietly. Likewise if I do the opposite and have the ring tone volume very low but the media volume as high as it can go, the phone rings loudly.

I'm running the latest software available for it according to the software update.

Android 4.0.4
HTC Sense 4.1
Software Number 2.15.401.100
HTC SDK API Level 4.25

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
