Ringer Loud

Does anyone know why the ringer is so loud when its on the lowest setting? I have over the horizon as my ringer. Thanks for any help.

Do you have use increase volume in pocket or purse checked?....phone keypad/call settings/ increase volume button ....I use this and found it will also work if the phones is facing down on a table

i do not; i just changed my ringer to something else
