Rings Digital Weather to home screen

[AC Question]

Am new to Moto X and have a question. I have gotten the Rings Digital Weather app on my phone but cannot seem to get it on my home screen. All I get is the little thumbnail on the screen. What is this dummy doing wrong?

Welcome to Android Central! That's a widget, so you need to go through the process of placing a widget on the homescreen. Usually, you long-press an empty area of the homescreen, then select Add Widget. You will then see a selection of available widgets--long press your Rings Digital Weather Clock widget, then drag and drop to your homescreen.
