Ringtone keeps changing back to the original default tone

I have put various MP3 songs into the ringtone folder. When I assign the ringer to one of the songs, it stays for about one day and then reverts back to the ringtone that came when I bought the phone. Are other people having the same problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Try putting in notification folder see if it still happening, where did you get the ringtones from ?

they are MP3 songs. I will try your suggestion and put some in the notification folder thanks.

You can also go to the ringtone in sounds in settings and click the plus sign at the top right. it will bring you to all your songs and choose it from there. Thats how i do it. It sticks and doesnt change back.
