Ringtone preview issue.

Anyone else having an issue previewing ringtone sounds?

No problem here. What kind of issue are you having? Are you certain the Ringtone/Notification volume slider is turned up?

The slider is turned up with normal sound for media and alarm, faint sound for ringtone and call volume. Also, no sounds when previewing ringtone sounds.

Sorry, it's not entirely clear to me -- are you saying that in the Settings>Sound & Vibration menu, the Ring & Notification Volume is cranked all the way up, but the actual sound is faint?

The Ring & Notification Volume slider is maxed and on that screen the sound is faint though the phone does ring. But if trying to change the ringtone, there is no sound there either when trying to preview the available sounds.

Does this also happen in Safe Mode?

Not sure how to do safe mode. My wife just wants to change her ringtone and can't hear them when previewing. Not a show stopper.

What she's experiencing certainly shouldn't be happening, so I wonder if some 3rd party app she installed might be causing problems. That's why Safe Mode can be useful -- it temporarily disables any 3rd party app.

Problem resolved. I had do not disturb on.
