I'm using Android 7, latest update.

I noticed that when I get a call, the moment I move the phone it silences. The vibration keeps happening. I want to turn this off.

I keep the phone in a pocket on the leg of my trousers, if I'm walking the phone is constantly moving so I'll hear a fraction of a second of ringtone if I'm lucky. Vibration is also hit and miss as the trousers aren't that tight..!

My first thought was "Easy Mute" but that is turned off. Any other ideas..? I've looked through the call settings and the sound/notification settings and can't see anything appropriate.

I don't know if this is it but I found something in the call settings. My phone is a G6 so your phone may not have settings in this exact order. But I thought I'd run this by you. In my phone, you go to Settings > Call > More (under advanced) > Gestures (scroll down to the Other section)... In there is a "silence incoming call" option that is on by default in my phone. It's set to "flip phone to silence incoming calls." Since you're wearing your phone in a pocket on the leg of your pants, it could be moving around enough to activate this.

Since my phone is a G6 I hope your phone's settings are similar enough to mine that you can locate Samsung's version of this setting. Samsung should have a call settings area. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. I think what you are referring to is "Easy Mute" in Android 7, where flipping the phone over or placing your hand on the screen mutes the ringtone. I have that switched off.

My Androd screens don't follow what you describe, so I'll guess your still on Android 6..?

No it's android 7. I'm sorry you don't have enough of a similar settings tree to find this feature on a Samsung. I thought for sure the same setting on your phone would stop the behavior if you turned it off. But if it is easy mute and you have it turned off, I don't know.
