Ringtone stops after a second

So when someone calls me, the ringtone starts up but instantly begins to fade out and then quits. I tried changing it to a different ringtone, same thing. The speaker works fine for all other applications. Has anyone else experienced this? Ideas?

there is a settting if you touch the phone the ringtone will stop ringing. Thats a setting in the phone you can disable it, but I dont see a point in the phone ringing if you already have it in your hand. I would rather have it shut up after I lift the phone.

No, this is different. I never touch it. It just fades out right after it begins ringing, no matter if it's in my pocket or sitting on the table.

Haha, it isnt when you just touch it.

You have to pick it up. It's just when it senses a drastic movement in the accelerometer.

Just go to settings and uncheck "Quiet rung on pickup" (or something of that variation)
