Roam only for the Galaxy s 2?

I am thinking of switching from Htc Evo to the Epic 4g touch and I work in the basement where the signal for sprint is non existent. I use the roam only app that I bought from the app store for the Evo and it works like a charm. Is there anything I could do that you guys know of that could enable the roam to be set to stay roaming on the Epic touch 4g? I checked the app that I bought it is not supported. Please help

so in order for the phone to work with roam control I have to root it? Do you guys recommend rooting the phone?

I can confirm you need root on the Galaxy S 2 as I have Roam Control and it won't work without root. I also am not sure if it's supported yet even with root as the last update made mention of other models that are now supported but the Epic Touch was not in the list.

The app is great and it worked wonders on my Evo, but try emailing the Dev before you consider rooting just to try it.

I will be rooting, but I'm waiting for something a little easier and more stable.

I am rooted and have Roam Control. The only glitch is that you can't use roaming data even if it is checked. Only works for phone calls and text. I will let the devs know and maybe they can fix it.
