First impressions: Amazingly light and easy to handle in spite of 5.5 inch screen.
More testing and hands on in progress .. Will be comparing audio to LG V10 soon.

Initial impressions regarding audio:
I am using V10 as comparison without the Hi-Fi DAC enabled, Poweramp rock eq and bose ear plugs, FLAC and 320kbps:
While the audio on S7 edge is not bad, it's not comparable to the V10 even without the DAC enabled. On the V10, the audio sounds more natural, has more depth and retains its quality even at higher volumes. Some of the subtle notes that you hear on one ear piece or at the back of the head are clear on the V10 compared to S7 edge.
Overall opinion: Audio quality not comparable to V10 (even without DAC). It's still sounds good if you are coming from older generation phones.

Did you complete the Adapt Sound setting? I don't have the S7 edge yet, but if they haven't removed the option it should be under Sounds Settings or the OEM Music Player settings.

If it's there and you haven't set it, please do so, you won't regret it.

Thanks, did the adapt sound setting, improved quite a bit but still falls short of V10 slightly. But I am satisfied with the overall phone so sound quality is a non-issue.
