Rogue apps possibly causing tracker issues?

I am one who has had problems with the trackers. In my case, it has been the step tracker.

I have had a few days where the tracker was kind of okay, and days when the tracker was simply awful. Overall, the tracker has not been good.

This morning I got a notification on my phone that a particular app closed and this was the second or third time in the past month that I got this notification on this particular app, although the app had not been opened for quite some time.

I decided to go into my settings and apps and force close the app. Today, has been the first day that my step tracker has actually worked like I have expected it to work.

I am not getting excited yet. I've been through so much with this watch, one day is not enough to get me excited. Prior to this watch, I would have somewhere around 8,000 steps by noon, and I had 8,500 steps by noon today.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

This is more like it.

After an hour of sweating, 7,000 steps is the norm, not 4,500 or 5,000.

And at noon, I am where I need to be to get my full 10,000-13,000 for the day.

So, my suggestion is if you are having issues with a tracker, start checking for misbehaving apps on your phone.

Sounds very promising in your quest to solve this problem.
Now all you have left to do is change your target to 10.000 so that the "target reached" marks are reliable as wel ;)

I definitely need to change that target step count to 10,000.
