Roll back to ICS 4.02?

if i find the zip of 4.02. can i just unzip it, put in on my phone and run it? is it that simple to roll back? the only instructions i've seen are how to go from pre 4.0 to 4.02 and that required some clockwork mod or somesuch for rooting. i'm not rooted.

I would use wug's toolkit to root, then go back to 4.02 and unroot.

yes very big problems. my widgets stop working from time to time. not really good when you look at your clock or battery widget and they're not updating to the the current state.
