After trying to gain back my earlier battery life by modifying and tweaking my settings, I think I would rather just forget about this most recent OTA update. Is it possible to go back?

My battery life was terrible after the update too. I disabled Widget Locker and my battery life returned to normal though.

I've never had widget locker installed. My battery life seems to be decreased after that ota. To install it, I had to do a battery pull. I'm curious if somehow doing that had a negative effect on things. With light use I'm losing about 10% per hour. A few days prior to the ota, I installed Go Launcher and amazingly got over 24 hours. Idk how/why, but it was awesome. Now, I'm getting around 12 hours.

I noticed a slight drop in battery life after the latest OTA update. Still getting 12+ hours so not that big of a deal to me.

You can roll back to the previous ota if you install rsd lite and flash the previous sbf. You'll have to go on the xda forums to find instructions if u don't know how. Although, u may want to give it some time. My battery life seemed worse at first too, but after I calibrated the battery it has stabilized, and I got over 40 hours on my last charge with moderate use. I am rooted, but not unlocked. I use a battery saver mode, which switches off data after 15 min. Here's the proof of my 40 hrs.

I'm currently at 31hrs and my battery is at 46%. Moderate use, not rooted and not using battery saver mode. The only thing we've changed is going from Cox Internet to FIOS, so maybe the change in internet/router has caused this extended battery life??? I usually get about 14 ~ 16hrs before charging at night.

What did you used to calibrate?

BatteryCalibration app. Root required.

That's awesome! I wish I could get Fios! Another thing I forgot to mention is that my download speeds have nearly doubled on wifi since the update. Went from about 12 to 20mb/s (with Roadrunner/Timewarner). I'm pretty happy with this phone, especially with the fact that I made nearly 2 hrs worth of phone calls on that charge and it didn't kill too much battery life.
