[ROM] - 12/30 - SenselessROM 1.0 - The name says it all!

Welcome to SenselessROM - For those who want the look of stock AOSP / Gingerbread but with functionality of Sense! All Apps are up to date as of 12/30/2011.

The ROM has been stripped of most of the Sense and associated files but the Dialer and some other features remain due to the tight integration the RUU has with Sense.


ROM is de-odexed and based on official Verizon RUU 1.02.605.6.

Known Issue:
When an incoming call is present you will need to unlock the screen to see who is calling.

Note:

This is an early build! It may have unseen issues or random glitches. Features will also be added as more mods become available. Please leave feedback in this thread or on my site: Scott's ROMS - Home

Prerequisites:

Must Be HTCDev Unlocked
Must have a custom recovery installed

Instructions to flash:

Place ROM on SD Card
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data / Factory Reset
Install ROM and reboot
Its not recommended that you restore back ups from prior ROMS! Do fresh install!

Flashing recovery.img and or boot.img:

coming from a bionic so I have a couple questions

1. does this rom also have the bloatware removed?

2. when you say htcdev unlocked does that mean rooted or having the bootloader unlocked?

3. what custom recovery are you using?

for my bionic to load custom roms I rooted, then downloaded boostrapper, then installed the same way you have listed for the rezound

1. Yes, this ROM has all the bloatware from VZW. I figured if you wanted a ROM that had the look and feel of AOSP that you would also want the VZW bloatware, right?

Nahhh... Of course th bloat is gone

Yeah, with very rare exception, I wouldn't post a ROM that had such a major defect, lol

I do miss VZNavigator. Does anybody know where I can pay $10 a month for a service that is already free on the phone while still using this Rom?

2. battery icon thats shows percentage

both are present in cleanrom but i hate sense

You can use the IME from cleanrom in senseless. Just download the ROM, and pull htcime.apk from /system/app and replace your htcime.apk in your /system/app.

For the battery, head over the the UOT kitchen and cook one up.
