So I want to learn how to create my own rom but more so I want to understand how the android ticks understand the is what all the files do. I do program in c as well as other languages.

Any help would be nice link to other sites books to read any of it.

You just kinda have to start messing with stuff. There are a TON of great resources on both this forum and other forums such as XDA. I don't have any direct links at the moment but just take a look around, you should find information pretty easily.
