My RECOMMENDED install instructions:

*Odin to this file,(thank Chris4g):STOCK EC05 EXt4 NOCIQ-07/14/11
*let it boot head in to CWM its going to be the orange one let it convert(blah blah blah)
*wipe data,cache & davlik for good measure 3x's very important you cant slack off the 3 wipes with Clock Work
*THen flash my Rom
*and if you like the cw 3.1 flash after your setup

for whatever reason sometimes its loosing root could be a couple
reason some have been discuss in the thread already as always working on it!!

like i said this method secures me no problems at all sooooo Try it!!!! happy flashing

It looks nice. I just loaded Bonsai 4.0 yesterday so I'm going to sit this one out for at least a little while till I finish my Bonsai test drive but I have a feeling I will try it eventually.

Might be a silly question but is this EB13 or EC05 based?

Also, thanks for putting in the work. The more devs we have, the more goodies for our phones.

thanks man i dont blame ya bonsai is a great rom its eb13 based was going to do EC05 but put to much work in this one so going to make it an update

As a Las Vegan myself, I have to install this ROM. D/Ling it right now. I had some issues with another EC05 ROM that came out. What issues have been found with this? I'm looking at GPS / Google Navigation and screen rotation issues in the past (even with stock).
Is it important to have odin'd back to original?

I was using the AnonmyousROM for a couple days but kept getting force closes. Just as this was booting the first time I get process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. What's the way to solve this?

are your apps installed to SD..Glad to see another vegas body lol i personally never had problems with apps unless coming from a GB rom to ec05 and vice versa especially is data is backed up with apk this is the main issue that very few have and is the only reoccurring problem that i found but cant pinpoint why since only 2% of the users have had this problem im certain its not the Rom but a problem none the less did you follow install instructions from OP? you can get away with wiping everything but i find it better to Odin every Now and then between switches let me know!

I have wiped it via odin about a dozen times now.
I have a 2GB SD card from which I install the ROM. CWM doesn't seem to like my 16GB SD card when I am attempting to install ROM's. So the .zip is on the 2GB SD card and I installed the ROM. No issues. Even installed a couple apps with the 2GB SD Card still in. Then a reboot later shows that I still have no apps - GO Launcher EX and GO SMS. So it seems that I"m not keeping my apps installed no matter what SD Card I have installed. And this is only the case with this ROM. I really don't like the look/feel of Bonsai, but it kept my apps, as did ACE 2.0 - although I think those are both for EB13. Right now I"m on Froyo.EC05 but I am back to standard Epic.
From all the ROM's I've used, the look of the Font, the icon's and everything that is going on - I love the little Ghost Buster Ion Pack sound when its charging - is what I"m looking for in a ROM. Now if we could get the Keyboard smiley to make the @ like Truly Epic Rebirth, I"d be esstaic. OK and for me, a new boot animation. But those will have to wait until I can either figure out why my apps aren't being installed or move on. Additionally, I was getting it where the home / house button wasn't working. I could only use the back arrow.

I re-odin'd but used the referenced EC05 link that CK directed me to. I didn't realize I was using some other EC05 .tar file. So now that I've followed directions a tad better it seems to be holding my apps. I'll keep testing it - because I think this is a great ROM - and if I encounter issues that aren't caused by me (which I'll find later that they are) I'll post questions.
