rom flashing question

I'm currently on hboot 1.15 S-on and did not take the most recent update. Now that roms are being based off of the newest update does that mean that if I flash this rom will my radios not be compatible and not be able to make calls or texts? Can someone explain what this means and if I can flash or not?

I'm not 100% sure and maybe someone can correct me.. but I think radios and roms are two separate things. Therefore you can flash any ROM on any radio.

I'm in the same position as you, where I have 1.15 with S-ON and I'm using the latest version of MeanROM. There's not problem there.

I flashed the new ROM OTA and still have the old radios and no problem... Just sucks to not have newest radios

Your radios should still be compatible with any ROM that you flash. If you want to update your radio, since you are S-ON hboot 1.15 I believe you will need to relock your phone and run the most recent RUU.
