[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

Thanks... Thats what I thought too. I guess I will just stick with the CM version instead of getting two texts and taking up space. if you do find out otherwise, please let me know, and I will post it too if I find out a way... :)

In the messaging settings, you can change the number of messages to save per conversation. The default is 200 SMS and 20 MMS. You could reduce those in the CM messaging and see if it has an effect on Handsent. If not then just set it to one for each and then your space problem is solved!

Gerrit Code Review

Shows all the code that has been merged into the build by date. It can be a little cryptic, but items that have times are that day's - anything after the last build will go into the next build. So for example, if code were submitted at 11:30 tonight it would not be in today's #6 - it will go into tomorrow's #7.

Why is it that when I'm away from my laptop for 24 hours this thread always blows up?! Haha PvilleComp is the man, everybody give it up for this guy.

I've noticed people asking alot of questions that have been answered in the OP, so I'd like to remind everyone to please only post a question after checking the OP. I have worked really hard to make the OP a one-stop shop for everything CM7. I do not want this thread to become over-run with redundant questions! Thank you everyone, this thread rules :D

Don't you just love it when you put time and effort into something and no one properly uses it? (See Rom & Mod HQ) LOL

its Ok though buddy. Your effort is appreciated over here.

Haha, I guess that's just part of the process! How is life as a Mod for you, I wish I had the time to take on something like that... I can barely keep up with one thread :)

Its uhhhhhh...different. haha. Nah, its cool though. Takes more patience than anything. I came up with all the other mods and they're a blast to work with.

I am having an issue with clockworkmod registering to auto update this rom...I paid for cwm and do not know why this wont work

That's a buggy thing. Some folks have no problem and others can't register. I have not been able to register in CM since I did a full wipe back on #36. I'm going to do a full wipe this weekend and see if that fixes it.

Hey everybody check this out! A good guy by the name of bizdady over at XDA has created a lockscreen theme/mod that looks like the Honeycomb lockscreen. It is very slick looking, especially if you have the Honeycomb theme installed! I don't think I will be adding this to the OP as it is very build specific, and there is no guarantee it will be updated for every build.

THIS IS FOR BUILD 6 ONLY!

Here is the link to the thread for everyone to check it out. Make sure you follow the instructions there to get it to look quite right.

It looks like they have been working hard on the WiMax EVO stuff. Not much in last night's or tonight's as of yet that seems relevant to us or big enhancements in general. Hopefully over the weekend, but I’m sticking with 6 for now.

Anyone play with the new lock screens, Battery indicator or the text msg char count?

ok question,...i havent been able to find a concrete answer...whats the difference between cm7 rc1 and the nightlies? is one better than the other?

Nightlies come with newer features, kernels, etc. Buy may also come with more bugs. Its a risk/reward kind of thing. RC 1 just means its the most stable for everyone.
