ROM list? Where's sticky

Didn't there used to be a sticky with most of the available popular ROMs listed? I apologize if I missed the discussion about removing it. After installing CMrc2, I stopped following the threads figuring I'd found a home. Now that it has been (kind of ) confirmed that 4G support will not be ready in the near future, I am looking to switch to a 4G supported froyo ROM in the interim.

Does anyone know of a link to a reliable rundown of the options? I want to try the AC Rom, for certain. I just want to compare to other things (e.g. I've had luck with toasted delight in the past). I'm looking for something pretty, functional, and with good battery performance. As much as I enjoy bragging about my epeen, I don't know enough about linpack or run anything requiring super FPS scores to require huge performance if it means sacrificing battery/utility/design.

Thoughts? I apologize if I've missed other posts that cover this issue more recently. I know how annoying it is to recreate the wheel every time a new fanboy is born who hasn't bothered to read the last weeks' worth of posts (I glanced...).

yeah, it was kind of stale with old 2.1 ROMs so i believe t0ast3d was gonna put together one with 2.2 ROMs in it. especially now that root is out there for 2.2

I dont trust the new Root method...

Im waiting to see all these Nice new Bricked phones pop up everywhere...

I said it before and I'll say it again... I dont Trust the new Forever Method...

It was Irresponsible at best to release it...

Here's an idea ..... SOMEONE MAKE A 2.2 ROM LIST!

make a list, provide a brief explanation of each ROM (sense, AOSP, mixture, any special features, etc) and we'll sticky it.

Some rules should be put in play though, the OP should not play favorites to ROMs, if someone mentions a ROM you don't have you should add it, if someone is suggesting a ROM be added it should be THEIR responsibility to provide the quick description and link so the OP is not chasing their tail keeping it updated. Common sense stuff. An unbiased, easy to read list of ROM's with quick descriptions.

Here's what I'm looking for: The best Froyo ROM with 4G support.
In all seriousness, I'm not TOO concerned about high benchmarks if it's reasonably snappy on it's own. I'm not a big fan of Sense. I like ROMs that are both pretty and have some neat functionality (e.g. I like all of the stuff that CM lets you do on the lock screen).
This is really really general and will probably match a LOT of roms. That's part of the problem. I don't know where to start, really. I was looking at the AC Rom and it looks very promising.
EDIT: My girlfriend has a Droid and she's a programmer (though, scared to root). I loved how my CM6 equipped phone made her UI look pathetic. I guess I want something so pretty and elegant that she has to bow down to my geek might (even though she's the one with the real geek cred). For the record, anything hello kitty themed, as much as it would appeal to her, would undermine my masculinity (unless it had skulls). Just saying

and yes, I know themes like Hello Kitty and sports teams and whatever have nothing to do with ROMs.
