So idk if its just me but rom manager is pretty unreliable and I'm looking for a good alternative. A friend of mine suggested rom toolbox but I need more opinions... help
ROM Toolbox is a solid app, with a lot of features that replace other apps (backup/restore, root explorer, terminal, theming, etc). I bought the pro version and have no regrets.
The free version doesn't have a complete rom list and I need something to keep up with the cm9 nightlies. Does the pro version offer a better list as well as more features?
Rom toolbox is nothing like rom manager. It is not going flash roms or look for updates or flash files. It is more like set CPU or nstools on steroids.
Just ditch rom manager and start flashing in recovery like most people. Rom manager is just not as reliable and probably never will. Once you get used to flashing in recovery you may have a lot fewer issues.
If you're looking for an app to just tell you when there is an update for the nightlys try goo manager. It will take you to the update and download it and event take out to the gapps version and download that as well. All that is left for you to do is backup and flash.
