I like Slim. No lag, AOSP, and had more options than CM.

favorite ROMs are CyanogenMod, Pac ROM, Slim ROM

CyanogenMod: very clean, no lag, added performance options, DSP manager, theme manager , great device support

Slim ROM: minimalistic, inverted option, added some CM features

Pac ROM: combines features from other top ROMs, simple settings

I prefer CM since it's very similar to stock, available on a ton of devices, can increase battery life, and stable versions are updated somewhat frequently.

i really just want a de-bloated touchwiz rom, stock! i am not a big fan of the aroma installer apps at all! do they have one?

I started using CM to get away from Touchwiz, but if bloatware is the main issue you can disable apps and use Nova Launcher to hide bloatware.

I posted this response in another thread with the same question.
Myself I prefer CyanogenMod. I'm running CM 10.2 m1 with Google 4.4 launcher and Android KitKat theme. I removed the stock SMS app and use hangouts for default messenger. Can't wait for CM 11.
