Root 2.2?

So I just got a Droid Inc and I love it to death so far but mine came with 2.2 reinstalled and I have no clue how to root it. It says on the sticky unrevoked should work but then it goes on to say how to do it with 2.1.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

im using froyo but someone told me i need drivers but i dont know how to install them
