Root access for 3.2

Is there a root method for the the 3.2 update to the Acer Iconia A500?

I've lost my root after updating from 3.1

there is no root method for 3.2 you have to revert back to 3.1 and re root, then flash a custom 3.2 ROM if you want 3.2 back.

Yes you can update rooted as long as you still are running the stock ROM and recovery.

there was a post around here somewhere but I cant seem to find it at the moment. If you cant find it here I'd suggest checking out XDA because I'm pretty sure thats where the link took you to anyways.

After you root again, and install Acer Recovery, I would advise flashing one of the stock "rooted" HC roms. Pretty cut and dry. But, back up your contacts first, if you have any You'll lose your internal data after doing the rollback.

Over at XDA, timmyDean has a method for rooting stock 3.2 without reverting. Works great. Just make sure you follow the footnote, as there was a small error in one of the batch files. link

Method 2 on the original link, is a lot easier for n00bs.
