root error

Trying to root with ace hack. Seems to go good but freezes during " INFOsignature check..."anyone???

Once you are running Ace Hack Kit, you have to let it run for about 10 minutes.
If you are getting freezes, then you should get an Ubuntu LiveCD (just a 700mb CD) and run the Kit in that OS. Windows can freeze the Kit due to many reasons, but Ubuntu will not have problems.

It froze for a half hour. Ubuntu , is that a downloadable deal? It looked like it was almost done when it froze.

Sometimes Windows has issues, but Ubuntu (this is Linux, a free operating system) does not.

Many times that error us due to antivirus/malware interference. You need to make sure you have all that disabled. It could be something other than your antivirus. Most malware detection/protection programs run in the background, like Windows Defender, Microsoft Essentials, or any other programs you may installed.

To best of my knowledge everything is stopped(anti v) it looks like the infocheck is at the end of process. Someone said I need new sdcard. Don't know really

I rooted with an empty 2gb SD card and after root put in the phone supplied 8gb SD card. After the root, the SD card had a few files on it. I don't know if that is required, but I didn't want any issues and had the old SD card to use.

I think any SD card will work, just it needs at least 1gb of space. If Ubuntu LiveCD doesn't work, then maybe you need to try a blank SD card.
