So Ive been attemping to root my elite all weekend, the jcase method wasn't working for me (got all the way to the lgnpst part where you click upgrade and select your bin file and then started and it failed) so then I switched to the giantpune method, I was able to set up everything right (I think) by upgrading my .net framework to 4.5 and extracting all the click root.zip files to c:/android/platform-tools. After that I ran step one successfully, enabled DIAG mode and moved on. When I started zadig.exe I couldn't find the required drivers (cdc serial usb interface 0, lg usb android interface 2 and lg usb android interface 3) but I then went off the path a little and tried reinstalling the lg usb united drivers I had downloaded previously for something, and then I found the correct drivers in zadig. I selected the drivers and one by one installed them over libusb32. I thought that was all good them so I moved on to step 3. My phone did everything normal (bootloop and then reboot) and then I installed superuser then i opened ROM manager (I had it installed to move to sd for another phone wothout 3g when I was out of wifi) to check wheter I would get the message about not finding root and I didn't. Afterwards I went and installed all the root apps I wanted and then went to sleep (this was like 3 in the morning) this morning I woke up and tried to use some of my root apps and apparently superuser is not found a sys/bin or sys/xbin. I reopened rom manager and got the no root message I didn't get last night when opening it. Should I retry that root process or try and do the the jcase root or giantpunes original? Thanks in advance.
