OK, so I'm the stupid guy who buys a Galaxy S5 unlocked off CL.
I get a model that I assume is a European model (SM-GT900F), and teh guy I bought it from (who has now disappeared) has it flashed with firmware from a SM-N900 (Which I believe is a Note 3?) 4.4.2 KitKat
Here's the problem(s):
The package teh guy installed only recognized 1.79GB of the 16GB.
It will on do H+, not LTE.
Here is what I have tried:
Using the "Unified Toolkit", I can get it into debug USB mode, and then when I try the automated root process, and it brings up ODIN, teh phone will reboot back into teh OS, skipping the Recovery / Download mode.
I can boot it into recovery, but can never get ODIN to recognize the com port , so I can get a recovery TWRP on it.
I'm kinda stumped, and a newbie as you can tell. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
