Root for Evo Design 4g??

Hey guys... I had the evo design for some time now and i AM getting really angry at the fact that my phone is now rooted since all my other android devices (aka tablets) are rooted. By mistake i updated to 2.12.651.5 and now i found out theres no root for my device. So i am wonder is there anybody working to root this version or is there a root out there aready for this version???!?!?

Have you tried installing Su through a recovery zip file that's what I did ,search around for Su zip file pm any questions

Yeah I did that yesterday and I finally got it rooted after through installing busybox and superuser

guys i had my htc evo design bootloader unlocked and now am looking for how to root it. could any body show me how. and what is Su. and how can i do it... thank u

Since you already have bootloader unlocked its half over. Next thing to do is flash cwm recovery. After that install the su(superuser) binary zip through cwm. Then download su and busybox from market. Voila
