Root Help

Hi, I went ahead and decided to try to root my Thunderbolt today. I got up to the beginning of step 4. On my bolt screen I clicked the bootloader option followed by fastboot. After I did that some green text came up and took me back to the fastboot option. The text read something like "No image". Any ideas how I can fix this or get my phone out of this screen to try again? :-\

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

so you renamed the file PG05IMG.zip and put it on your sdcard, put in the command , and it said the image wasnt there ?

Yeah it says, SD Checking, Loading .....PG05IMG.zip, No image or wrong image

try redownloading the ruu perhaps it was a bad download

just rename the zip to PG05IMG

don't put the .zip otherwise it will look like PG05IMG.zip.zip

Make sure your SD card is formatted to FAT32.

same here tried 3 times.even tried to unzip and put in a new file ,it was then like 939mb.

i use 7 zip file manager for zip files.am i useing wrong pprogram.i cannot get icon to look like the root video,the file with a zipper.thought i had this down pat,thanks

Dont unzip the file, just download it make sure its named right and drag to the phone. Also you can't have 2 files with the same name in the sdcard
