Root question

I just got off the phone with customer service. My phone was freezing up on me. They pushed the new update to me n my phone is no longer rooted. I have HTC super tool v2 and now it won't re root the phone. Can anyone help me out here.

From what I understand the update contains new hboot, boot, and recovery so it breaks root. No cure for it until someone finds a new root exploit for this update.

Sorry for your luck. Give a few weeks and hopefully someone will have it worked out.

Thanks. Unfortunately its all cuz my little boy dropped ny phone

I had to call customer service and well I ended up with this new update. Battery improved though. That's a plus, LOL

Lol. Mine loves to throw things, and if he sees my phone unattended he drops everything and busts for it. He's figured out how to wake it and pull the lock ring up. Won't be long before he's making calls to nana, lol. I have to admit I'm looking forward to his first Android phone.
