rootable eris?

Is this device rootable? I have a few of them that really NEED to be rooted. I'm coming up empty on results and procedures. Throw a dog a bone if all possible

Take your pick. I recommend reading through the first, even if you don't use it, just for the thoroughness of instruction.

I'm capable of rooting. I've rooted my DX and my wife's Dinc. I'm just looking for the easiest method to root the Eris for a fam member. Thanks for the links. I really appreciate it

The links above are great. I used them and put xtrSense on my Eris and it improved performance, reliability and memory dramatically. Highly recommended.

After you root I'd also recommend downloading Titanium Backup - it makes restoring everything after you install your new ROM ridiculously easy.

They have a one click root in the market for the eris. It took me 5 minutes when my GF had her eris
