Hi
I want to update but im rooted on 4.1.1 and i was wondering if i could just simply flash a 4.2 root without having to unroot my note 2. So i just want to flash 4.2 root via odin although im on 4.1.1 root.

Im having trouble deciphering what you want. You want to update your device to the newest update then reroot? Its kinda a lot of trouble to go through if root is all you want. You will need to do it again real soon as 4.2.2 is right around the corner for us. If you wish to install a rom with the updates that would be a better suggestion.

I see...wow thats 2 in a row for me tonight...becaus you do have a internatonal phone and I dont know how the carriers in your country do things, I can only point you in the general direction to start looking.

Follow the link start searching these forums, id start in the q&a section or the android development, questions that are asked alot are generaly made as stickies and posted at the top so they are the first thing you see as you enter sections. You can find updates and directions for basically anything specific to the phone in your region. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.
