rooted a evo 4g, now working on samsung epic 4

Hi folks noob here....first time trying to root a samsung epic 4g doing it for my brother. I did my evo and I love it...so bear with me...I am not a pro but I can figure things out and take directions well...looking forward to learning a lot from the experts.
