A little while ago I had a friend offer to root my phone for me so I let him. I've barely done anything with it. The whole rooting/flashing ROMs thing confuses me a little so I just left it alone. I really only have it rooted to randomly tether. I received the official OTA from Verizon this morning. When I went to update my phone it failed. Based off of what I've been seeing I can't tell if that's because it's an issue or because I'm rooted. Is there anything special I need to do to get the Gingerbread update?
