Rooted and Flashed ZVH TETHERING WONT WORK!!

Help I'm using GROM on my ZVH Optimus S and I can't get any form of tethering to work!

Wifi Tether Log Errors

Configuring Softap...
failed
Starting Softap...
failed
Activating Wifi Interface...
failed
Enabling Routing Fix...
failed

Any ideas?

I got those errors on stock rom. I just went to wifi tether in the market and that worked fine

try going to settings>change setup method and change it to the one that says adhoc WEXT

I uninstalled the version that is installed on g-rom, and installed the latest, which is on the market.
This one works. Security settings on that app only have WEP only though. Not like Id care that much.
It may also work for 1 device at a time only though.

i use drew's cm7, so this might not work for zvh, but try giving it a shot.
change device profile to optimus s and setup method to netd.
works perfectly for me, wpa2 and all.

I also downloaded the latest app from the web and it worked for me

Yeah. ZVH is worse then ZVD by far. More problems with tethering. Open garden seems to work the best for me
