ok so now I'm addicted:D... running rooted (forever) with HIFT3R, probably soon to be Purity, and want to make sure I'm getting maximum maximum battery life. I know powerboost script is baked in, but:

-- What settings are folks using - battery mode, brightness, etc

-- Bluetooth on 24/7?

-- 4G 24/7?

-- Stock or extended battery?

-- When do you charge battery?

What kind of battery life are folks getting on this sucker?

TIA

I leave battery set for performance mode. Automatic brightness. Bluetooth on only when I'm using it, which is not often for me, and easy to toggle since you have it in the pulldown now. I'm on 4G 24/7, never even use wifi (helps if you have unlimited data, obv). Although if I'm going somewhere that I know has weak or no 4G reception I'll toggle CDMA only on because it uses battery up if its constantly looking for 4G or switching between 3G and 4G. Stock battery. I pretty much just charge it overnight every night and I get through fine, if I'm running low during the day obviously will charge it. When you flash a new ROM its good to recalibrate your battery. To do that, charge up to 100% (give a few mins extra to really get full), boot into CWR with charger still in. Under Advanced select Wipe Battery Stats. Then just reboot, unplug, and let it run until it shuts down, NOT charging again until the phone literally turns off. Then plug in and let it charge completely to 100%. This will fully calibrate it. Also every new ROM install typically takes a day or so for the ROM to settle in before you get max batt life anyway, so the first day it might drain a little quicker than afterwards.

There's an awesome app I think just called "Battery Calibrator" that just does it all for you.

Yeah for the calibration part, that's true. Once it was explained to me how to do it on my own using CWR I just learned to do it that way :)
