Rooted and Stock ROM Won't Update

I've temporarily unrooted using Voodoo RootKeeper, but the OTA update from VZW does not load. Kind of annoying, since the phone keeps interrupting me every hour or so to alert me that an update will take place -- and then it aborts.

I have only rooted; the ROM is still stock.

Have you deleted or changed anything on the stock ROM? That can affect you updating.

Did you flash the stock rooted with TWRP or without? You may still need to go back to 100% stock (including recovery) before the update will work.

TWRP is TeamWin Recovery Project. It's one of the few custom recoveries out there. It was designed for touch. If you restart into recovery you'd notice their full screen logo if you had it.
