Hello
I rooted my phone with following link

http://forum.androidcentral.com/verizon-fascinate-rooting-roms-hacks/33899-how-root.html

and then I upgraded it to Full Stock Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod
with following link

How to Update Samsung Fascinate to EB01 Froyo | Android Advices

Everything works fine but I still see some lag here and there.
So... what is my next move to make my phone lag free? :D
I see bunch of voodoo, kernel and stuff which i have no idea what that is.
Should I just follow old post to install those?

Thank you very much!

If you just rooted for the first time and don't have experience flashing different things through clockworkmod recovery my advice would be to stay away from voodoo until you are more comfortable doing that. If you want less lag for now I would recommend switching from stock EB01 to Adrynalyne's superclean 2.4. All of verizon's bloatware is gone and I get no lag with it.

Thank you for your reply.
so I just repeat the whole process as

How to Update Samsung Fascinate to EB01 Froyo | Android Advices

but with this file? -> Super Clean EB01 2.1+root+Froyo Clockworkmod
(EB01SC_DXC.tar)

Also I figured that if there is any bloatware missing I won't be able to access to official download from verizon and samsung. For instance what if I want to download the official froyo later on that comes out from verizon? Is that when I should follow this link?

http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...ckworkmod-recovery-return-stock-use-odin.html

Thank you very much!!! :)

yes if you want to get back to stock you can use either DL09 or DI01 odin packages and get back to stock

Yes you would use the return to stock method to get back to a stock state if you wanted to receive the official release from verizon. And as far as going to superclean, why go the route of the method in your first link when you can do that right here at Android Central. You can do an all-in-one method through ODIN here:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...roms-w-root-new-clockwork-updated-2-15-a.html

or you can go to this link, download just the superclean 2.4 ROM, boot to recovery and flash it through clockworkmod:

The Last question! :)
i just updated it to Adrynalyne's superclean 2.4 and I really like it except a few things.
I see that it is installed with new music player, calculator, clock etc., but is there any way I can recover original programs or download it from somewhere?

Thank you very much!!!

Yes, you can download the stock version of the EB01 release to your phone, but don't install it. Use root explorer to pull out the apk files for those applications and move them to the system/app folder on your sd card.

so it means there are original files somewhere and I just need to move it to system/app folder.
Would you please tell me where those files are hidden?
Also can I use ghost commander to do that?

All those files should be in the EB01 stock release found here:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...acks/59339-release-eb01-rom-kernel-radio.html

You should be able to download that to your sd card then use a program like root explorer or ghost commander to move the apk files over. I tried to move the calculator, clock, and daily briefing over earlier tonight without success, so I must have done something wrong. Hopefully someone who knows how to correctly do that will help us out.

Did you take the apks from the stock EB01 or from the debloated/deodexed zip? the method you mentioned will work but you must use deodexed apks from a stock deodexed ROM.

hmmthink,

All the programs you want back are in the debloated/deodexed version of EB01, download it from the above link, unzip on your PC, look in the sytem/app folder for the APKs you want then use the method landshark provided to get the to run on your phone.

Easier way to do all this is:
Download rom manager,
Open it, go to download Roms, click on sonofskywalker3
from there, click oneither music player, calculator ... etc
Choose the stock option (you currently have the aosp version.) Click download
Do not click on any clearing of cache or wiping, and click OK. It'll reboot you into clockwork and automaticallyinstall and restart.

Repeat for every app you want stock

Viola!
