rooted but cant use dialer

Just like that, i rooted and now I can't use the dialer. I press the phone icon to open the dialer and it opens to a blank black screen and closes immediately. Need some help to get this fixed. Also when open the dialer and it closes it killed my service and shows the no service icon in the notifications bar then picked up service again after a few seconds.

Have you tried a factory reset? Are you running a custom rom?

This happened to me as well. A good question which is stated above is what ROM you're running. I was having the same problem. I can't remember what ROM it was though. Try a reboot. Annoying but it may work

Thank you, I'll give it a try. I was running jRummy16 RummRx v1.0 or something like that, when I found out I couldn't dial.
