rooted kyocera hydro C5170 update help please

I have a rooted kyocera hydro C5170 running ice cream 4.0 how do I update to the most current version my phone will use?

The latest official update for the phone was 4.0
If you would like an alternative to updating to a newer version of the OS, you could look into flashing custom recoveries and ROMs

Thanks for the quick reply.. I have 4.0 so I would like to know if it would be worth flashing my phone or should I look into getting a new one? If it is worth it please point me in the right direction.. Thanks again for ur time.. :')

It's definitely worth it, but if you can afford to get a new phone I think that would be a better route. Finding support and going through all the steps to get a newer is might not be worth the hassle if you can just get a new phone altogether

Thanks for the reply again...... I can get a new phone but i enjoy messing around with this one right now, I would like to do all the flashing and new rom **** on this phone so I can learn b4 I go get a new phone and wind up learning on that and if I screw it up and brick the new phone I'll be so mad but if I learn on this one and mess it up while learning It will not bother me and give me a reason to get the new phone. So if you could point me in the right direction with this phone as a learning tool I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

There are no custom roms yet available for the Kyocera hydro. I too have a rooted hydro C5170.
Have researched awhile and so far this device has no compatible rom to flash according to everything I've seen.

mine is locked down, can't root no how.
