Rooted Note 3 w/4.4.2 connects as Installer but doesn't revert to Meda Device like it used to.

It used to connect as installer and then revert to Media device. Quite a while back that changed and I've been trying to find a way around it since. I don't know if it was when I removed the Lollipop upgrade file or exactly what caused it. All I know is it is a real time waster to have to change it to media device every time I plug it in.
