Rooted! Now what?

After a few tries and lots of help from you guys, I am finally rooted! Super excited! I have downloaded titanium backup and having a problem with root explorer, its saying purchased, but won't download. I tried turning off and on the phone and popping the battery as well. I know once I get into that program I can start renaming files and what not. But then what do I do> I'd like to get kernels and roms that are compatible with each other. (I know some come together)

I've tried going thru some of the posts....they're just a bit overwhelming right now.

Unless I missed it in your post.... Is the FREE version or PRO?

sorry, its the pro version. I tried another credit card and it was fine. I'm trying to rename a few files but they are saying they cannot be renamed they are write only files.....

ugh...typo on my part, its saying they are read only files, not write only

What files are you trying to rename?

names, type, etc...
