Rooted or not¿

Hey I hope I am posting this on the write forum. I have an alcatel Phone. I wanted to check and see if it was rooted or not. Using Root Checker pro it showed that root isn't properly installed SU app not installed. However, SU Binary files are.

I was wondering if someone tried rooting my phone or not¿

Did you ever try rooting before ? Because if didn't it be very hard for it to achieve root by itself .

No I never tried rooting this phone. Is it possible for someone to be able to attempt to root it if I was connected to their WiFi??

No ...they would have to remotely access your phone which is very unlikely

I'm trying figure that out , have you lend your phone out to anyone? You the only one that uses it ?

I have let a couple of people borrow it for a few minutes. Which both times I stepped away.
Also at my last job I would leave it laying around, but I always have had a screen lock.

No doesn't look like those situation anyone could do anything.


But my question to you what made you check if your phone is rooted ? The one you have is pro version which is a paid version , you seem to have experience with rooting no?

My phone had started to act weird and then other "coincidences" began to happen. So it made me wonder. I have a little bit of knowledge on rooting. I haven't tried rooting this phone yet, mainly because I haven't had the time.

Someone tried to gain root access but didn't complete it , check in developer option if has option under toggle bootloader unlock would say root acces apps and adb? Does it have custom recovery installed?
