Rooted or not rooted?

I had rooted my phone when on 2.1 but had not deleted any of the bloatware in waiting for 2.2 upgrade.
I now have 2.2 and am wondering how to verify if/that my phone is still rooted?

Reinstalling the OS, in effect removes root privileges, you'll need to reroot.
