rooted stock vs nookie froyo

so i will be getting my nook color tomorrow morning just to turn it into a tablet computer but which way should i go? could some one just give me a quick feature list and whats missing from either option as far as a full "android experience" goes? i have and love my epic which is running froyo so i know a little more then the basics but still kind of a noob... any help would be appreciated

Also worth noting, I think, is that you don't even have to choose one: just pop in a nookie SD when you want froyo, take it out to boot rooted B&N!
