Rooting 3.29

Prior to the lastest OTA update I was rooted via Unrevoked 3.21. I had to unroot my phone to take it into Sprint. I unrooted with djr3z's tutorial from the droiddemos.com Since I got it back I ended up doing the OTA update (3.29). I want to re-root with UR3.21 but before I do I want to make sure it can still be unrooted with the same unroot process I used before with out any hiccups??? The reason I ask is I know some people ran into problems due to the new hboot and Im not sure if that has been resolved. Thanks for any help!!!!

Dont use unrEVOked. Use the sticky on the top of the hacks section. Do it that way you have nothing to worry about...

Thanks for the reply jerzy and I would follow the sticky but I have a mac and no access to a windows based cpu. Just out of curiosty, why do you advise not using unrevoked? I rooted prior with it and had no probs...

A lot of people use it, have problems, and then come here and don't know what they are doing. It's just easier for us to diagnose their problems when the steps and feedback are all set out for us. That and we all like the command prompt.

I understand what you mean... but once you have root does it matter how you got there? And like I said I have a mac and Im not the most techncal person!

On a side note does anyone have an answer to my question?? lol
